IPF 2014- Bangladesh: 350 booth, 300 exhibitors from 16country, 16626 visitors

IPF 2014- Bangladesh International Plastics, Packaging, Printing and Food Processing Industry Fair staged the 9th time at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) from February 20rd to 23th. This immense event was jointly organized by Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BPGMEA), ES Event Management SDN BHD (Malaysia), and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co., Ltd (Hong Kong).
Over 300 exhibitors’ early registration taking up 350 booths from 16 countries & regions (Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, U.A.E, United Kingdom) is showcased a comprehensive range of industrial products, technologies, and services to meet the needs of industry upgrading. BPGMEA as one of the show organizer has lead the members to exhibit more than 40 companies this year.
On the 8,000-square-meter showground, well-known international brand names. Cheso company represent of Haitian MACHINERY while NINGBO HUS MACHINERY MANUFACTURER CO., LTD. displayed its latest injection molding machine. NINGBO HAIJING PLASTIC MACHINERY CO., LTD. & NINGBO HAITAI INDUSTRY&TRADE CO., LTD. attended the fair to show their state of the art injection modling machine to the local market. EXZAKTA MECCANICA exhibited the High Speed Circular Weaving Machine. PP high speed inflation machine is run in VENUS PLASTIC MACHINERY CO., LTD this year.

The exhibition area covers 8,000 sqm with 16.266 trade visitors, the onsite turnover was around U.S. $ 60 million during the 4 days event. Most of the participants were satisfied with the performance and fruitful outcome of the exposition. The venue was crowded with business visitors showed their interests to learned state of the arts industrial technologies as well as onsite order.
IPF 2014 not only creates the opportunity for an excellent gathering of the international suppliers and buyers, but also brought foreign investment and economic growth to Bangladesh. The visitorship of IPF 2014 has grown up 20% compared to the last edition which indicates the potential for the Bangladeshi Plastic and Packaging Industry.
